A paper has been recently accepted by Combustion and Flame: Dynamical Mode Recognition of Triple Flickering Buoyant Diffusion Flames in Wasserstein Space. Please refer to the preprint version.

A paper has been recently published by The Journal of Physical Chemistry A: A Metric-based Assessment Method for MS-T Formalism with Small Subsets of Torsional Conformers. Please refer to the online version.

These two papers on different topics use the same mathematical concept of metric (distance function), one defined in a probability space and the other in a high-dimensional space of dihedral angles of molecules.

Dr. Zhang delivered an invited talk entitled "Towards High-level Theoretical Chemical Kinetics of Large-molecule Fuel Combustion" in the Shock Wave Colloquium of Chinese Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CCTAM-2017).

Dr. Xia presented a paper entitled "Vortex-ring-induced internal mixing within coalesced droplets" in CCTAM-2017.
